Jörg Panthöfer

Jörg Panthöfer is a seasoned IT expert with strategic foresight and over four decades of successful experience in the information technology sector. His career has been shaped by early entrepreneurial initiatives, continuous technological advancement, and the ability to position IT as a key enabler of sustainable business success.

At the age of just 14, he developed a proprietary inventory management system for his family's trading business - laying the foundation for a remarkable professional journey. While still in school, he founded his own IT systems company, which he built and ran successfully alongside his academic studies. From early on, he demonstrated a sharp instinct for using technology to make business processes more efficient, transparent, and future-ready.

After holding senior leadership roles at renowned IT system providers in Frankfurt, Fulda, and Mainz, he took over responsibility for the IT organization at SAGAFLOR AG in Kassel in 2007. In 2010, he was granted full commercial power of attorney. In addition to strong leadership skills, he brings deep technical expertise to the table - as a certified SAP professional since 2003. His IT agenda centers on information security, digital transformation, data strategy, cloud-based infrastructure, and process automation.

Jörg Panthöfer sees himself as a bridge-builder between technology, executive management, and operational departments. His role goes beyond technical modernization to encompass the strategic design of enterprise-wide IT solutions - always with a focus on increasing growth, efficiency, and resilience.

Privately, he resides with his family in Fritzlar, in the North Hesse region of Germany. He has been married since 1993, is the father of an adult daughter, and is a passionate vintage car enthusiast - particularly of sports cars from the 1950s and 1960s. For him, playing golf is not only a form of recreation but also a space for reflection - often accompanied by his Belgian Shepherd, Campino.
